New feature - INTELLIGENCE MANAGER: How to structure unstructured data?
Intelligence Manager is the latest software module of the Digimind platform: Allowing to structuring unstructured web data, the users can mix both dynamic and static data into user-defined sheets (e.g.: company sheets, product sheets, clinical trial pipeline) while allowing the comparison of those sheets or profiles
Below are examples of sheet-related features:
- Sheets may include textual data as well as images and documents (up to 10Mb): Company logo, financial report.
- Sheets are composed of blocks that may be collapsed or expanded to ease edition. For instance a company sheet may include a financial block composed of real-time data from Google finance.
- Sheets are accessible from the Digimind dashboard.
- Sheets allow further data analysis. E.g.:
1. From monitoring clinical trials, the sheet manager can build a graph comparing the timelines of several clinical trials.
2. From monitoring car description, the sheet manager can support price comparisons.

How to search relevant information faster?
Digimind has its own search engine that may be used for searching articles in alerts, in archived articles, or in the DCF database (Digimind Content Factory). For quite a while, Digimind users have been asking to implement several types of classification of the search results.
As of today, the Digimind search results may be organized upon three different ways:
1- By Date: Articles are sorted upon the date of publication from most recent to oldest articles. Duplicated articles are clustered in the search results.
2- Date with duplicates: Articles are sorted upon the date of publication from most recent to oldest articles. In that particular case, duplicated articles are displayed in the search results.
3- Relevance: Articles are sorted upon a proprietary and Digimind owned relevance algorithm. Relevance depends on five parameters: The number of information relating to a particular event, the presence and position of searched keywords in the title of articles, the web source fame (number of visitors) and the date of articles.
The relevance mode is set as the default mode for displaying search results however it is always possible to use another sorting mode by selecting this mode in the upper right corner of the search page window.
*Please note the relevance display mode applies to articles retrieved when clicking on a graph.
